Brand new dating format Date or Drop launched on RTL, Germany in October, with the six-episode first season attracting an average one million viewers with a 6.3% share and achieving a 10.8% share (Adults 14-49). A second season has been commissioned for next year.

In Date or Drop, lucky singles get to learn everything about a group of hopeful dates – but looks count for nothing as they must make their choices based only on what they hear, not what they see. In a unique twist, eliminated hopefuls get dropped through a trap door.
